A couple of GW Questions
Hi,
A long while ago i purchased Guild Wars : Factions, played it, loved it, even though i never made it further than level 10. ( So i'm still somewhat of a noob at it ) Anyway i recently wanted to try it out again. However, i cannot remember the email i used to login back then, the only thing i remember is my password strangely enough >.< So my question is : If i purchase a new copy of Prophecies or Nightfall, will i be able to use the activation card of tht to create an account and then play my Factions game with that account? Or am i doomed to purchase Factions again aswell. I've tried contacting NCsoft but i'm certain they'll assume i'm just some scammer trying to get a free account :/ And here's another question ( totally unrelated to the above ^^ ): Is the community still big? Especially big enough to perform certain eng-game content? I know GW2 is on it's way but i really enjoyed the first, and since ( atleast for me ) a great joy in these games is playing with other people, meeting other ppl etc. Those are my questions basically, hope someone will be of help. Thanks in advance. Greets, Kasz94 |

Well you couldn't have liked it that much if you only made it to level 10
You can't reuse the activation code, but if you have the it then I'm pretty sure NCSoft can help you recover your account. If not just buy the trilogy. |

You can try to recover your account. Email [email protected] and put LOST ACCOUNT INFO in the subject line. Give them all the information you have - owner's name, address, birthdate, character name, creation date of account/character, the fact that you only had Factions, account key number. Anything that will help verify that you are the owner.
And, no, you cannot add that Factions account code to a new account. Only one use allowed for account codes. |

Yes, after you get to Kaineng center with your character, you can take quests that will take you to Nightfall, Prophecies and EotN.

You should know that in GW doesn't matter your lvl. Everyone gets to 20lvl (max) very quickly, but that's only the begin of true GW. I hope you'll recover your old account P.S. Don't remove old characters! |

Once an access key is attached to an account, that becomes the one and only account that will ever be able to use that key. So you really want to find a way to get back into that original account. Then you could buy Prophecies/Nightfall/EotN and attach those keys to that same account, and thus be able to take Factions characters into the other campaigns and vice-versa. If you were to buy Prophecies/Nightfall/EotN and create a new account with them, then you would not be able to attach your old Factions key to it no matter what. |

If you can't .. you won't lose much really buying the Trilogy Pack, since you plan on getting Nightfall and Prophecies anyway.
In fact many of the veterans probably bought some campaigns more than once, for example the Game of the Year Prophecies edition that added Fire Imp to your account. |

Definitely try to get your old account back -- I'm sure you've racked up some valuable birthday gifts since you last played.
But if you haven't really done much on that account, and you have a desire to have the trilogy, it might be more beneficial for you to buy the trilogy/complete collection and start a new account. Often, the bundle is cheaper than adding the individual campaigns on to your existing account. That way you could have your old account as a spare for storage, Nick gifts, etc. Just something to consider. |

You can buy the Trilogy or the Complete Collection and add it to your current Factions account (when you get it back). This will update your Factions account with the other campaigns and any features you didn't already have available, such as the fire imp and the M.O.X. golem hero. It will not change your current characters or delete anything you have already accomplished.
Buying those packages is cheaper than buying the separate campaigns and adding them one by one. |
